Hi, I’m Debra.
Thank you for stopping by the site today. I’m excited to share with you how I assist my clients here at RecoverWell. I work to help people live fuller and healthier lives through massage and recovery therapies.
Beating breast cancer and battling lymphedema inspired me to want to help others dealing with health challenges of their own. My fascination with the human body and its healing abilities fueled my desire to work at achieving my optimal health and wellness and help others do the same. Channeling my passion of supporting others to live fuller and healthier lives, I chose to study massage therapy.
As an educator with over 20 years of experience, I am dedicated to making sure that healing does not stop with the end of my client’s session. I am determined to provide guidance on how my client can continue to improve their health after our time together. I will suggest simple techniques and adjustments that can be done at home, helping improve their quality of life.
My ongoing training in therapeutic massage techniques encompasses numerous modalities, thus reflecting my commitment and desire to continually better my skill set and provide the most beneficial treatments for my clients. I am certified in Manual Lymph Drainage from Klose Training, certified as a Complete Cosmetic Surgery Therapist from Norton Lymphatics, TMJ therapy, certified in cupping, trained in the Spurgeon Method of breast massage, trained in oncology massage, trained in Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique (SMRT), and trained in myoskeletal massage. I am passionate about the intricacies of the body and learning the specifics of the medical issues you are dealing with. This allows me to adjust the methods and techniques I use to best assist your body in its recovery. I am focused on supporting my clients’ and their ability to heal during times of illness, injury, stress and emotional pain. I will choose the modalities best suited for their condition. I am a firm believer that we can be active participants in our own recovery and health, and enjoy providing my clients with a safe environment that allows you to embark on your healing journey with the knowledge and support to do so on your terms.
When not helping my clients, I enjoy the outdoors and hiking, listening to live music, spending time with family, friends, and traveling. I understand the desire to live a full life after illness, and through recovery. Please ask me any questions you have, and allow me to be a resource for you, during your healing journey.
Let’s talk about you.
Our bodies talk to us all the time. It is important to listen. Commit to make yourself and your health a priority in your life, before you have no choice but to put yourself first. Massage is not just a luxury, it is a way to a healthier, happier life. It’s a proactive approach that can be seen as needed self-care and/or damage control. It’s taking action now to mitigate or avoid problems in the future. There is no need to live in stress, chronic pain, and with mobility issues. Massage can help improve your wellbeing, productivity, and performance. Making yourself a priority will help you in all you do! Choose to take care of you.
Whether you suffer from chronic pain, an injury, are recovering from surgery, or simply want to enhance your quality of life, I would be happy to help you meet your goals and tailor a plan for your wellbeing…
JUST FOR YOU!

What People Are Saying
“Debra is by far the best massage therapist I’ve ever been to, and I have been to a lot over the years. As a competitive gymnast growing up, I’ve done some damage to my body. Debra has helped me find relief in my neck, lower back, jaw, hamstring attachment, my feet helping plantar fasciitis and a recent bunion and even has offered relief with a hiatal hernia. She has also helped my son with severe TMJ and feet issues, and helped my daughter gain significant improvement in the look and appearance of scars left from surgeries in early childhood. Debra’s passion for her craft emotes as she gets excited to see the results from her work. And, Debra continues to learn new techniques and therapies to benefit her diverse clientele. She truly is amazing at what she does and I can hardly wait until my next massage!!”

“Working with Debra has truly been a transformative experience. Her skillful touch and attentive approach create a space of deep relaxation and healing. I’ve left each session feeling rejuvenated, both physically and mentally. Her expertise and genuine care shine through in every massage, making her an invaluable part of my wellness journey. I wholeheartedly recommend Debra to anyone seeking a therapeutic and uplifting experience.”

“I was a Division One tennis player until I needed to have my first shoulder surgery. Since then I’ve had a total of four and the last one was 8 years ago. I’ve struggled with keeping my range of motion, no matter how many times I stretched and rehabbed my shoulder. Debra has been working on my shoulder and she is the only person who has been able to give me back my range of motion that stays. I am so thankful for all the work she has done! It even has allowed me to get back on the tennis court and not be in pain or lose my range of motion.”

“I suffered with hip pain off and on for years until it finally got so bad that I found myself limping at the end of each day. The orthopedic surgeon recommended physical therapy as a first step, but PT actually made it worse! I assumed I was destined for invasive surgery until I had my first session with Debra. After just one session, I experienced my first day without limping in at least a year, and I had to adjust the rearview mirror in my car because I was sitting up taller. Since then, she has helped me maintain my hip, leg, neck, and back issues and has even helped me with my sinuses! Debra has also given me invaluable advice on how to manage my issues at home through exercise and natural supplements. My sessions with her have been truly life changing!”

“Debra’s medical massage has been extremely beneficial in the healing of my cancer. Debra not only has pristine medical and anatomy knowledge but an amazing sense of intuition and healing hands. She has also been trained in using specialty tools that have helped me to recover from surgery, breaking up scar tissue which has not only brought upon great pain relief, but has boosted my self confidence in reshaping my body. Debra has a deep understanding of the interconnection of the body and she is a therapist you can completely trust. Myself, a yoga teacher for almost 30 years, I know a person’s energy really matters as a therapist. Rest assured that Debra has amazing energy along with all of her knowledge. She continues to educate herself and is passionate about her work in serving others. I am grateful I found her and I highly recommend her.”
